Allison Garcia is a recent graduate from Point Park University. She earned a BA in Dance concentrating in Modern Dance specifically. She found Pilates in high school and began studying it with the hopes that it would improve her range of motion and provide more stability in her body. It did that and much more; soon she began to see an improvement in not only her dancing but also in her everyday life. Allison became passionate about the work and wanted to begin the training to teach it. She is now Comprehensively Certified under Power Pilates of New York from beginner through the advanced systems levels. By providing Classical Pilates instruction to her clients, she hopes to bring stability and mobility through movement as well providing confidence to those she teaches.
Susie Golebie, Pilates Instructor
Susie Golebie began her personal pilates training in 2006 to regain mobility from a “frozen shoulder.” The results were immediate, and she was hooked. Susie’s love of pilates and desire to help others enjoy its benefits lead her to obtain her Beginner Mat certification with Power Pilates in February 2010; and she built on that foundation with an apprenticeship at an affiliated pilates studio where she observed dozens of classes. She obtained her Intermediate Mat Certification in October 2010. When she is not working with clients or working out at the studio, Susie maintains a freelance graphic design business.
Erin Harold, Pilates Instructor
Erin Elizabeth Harold grew up in Stoneboro, PA and graduated with honors from Lakeview High School in 2006. She then attended Point Park University where she earned her degree in dance. Erin has now achieved one of her dreams by becoming a Radio City Rockette for her fourth season. Erin became interested in Pilates while receiving her dance training in college. Erin recently earned her Comprehensive Certification (encompassing beginner through advanced levels of Classical Pilates training) from Power Pilates of New York. Erin is currently teaching Pilates full-time and is planning to go back to school for Physical Therapy to coincide with the Pilates. She believes Pilates has been a major asset to her life and she enjoys teaching others how to experience that as well. Erin’s hobbies include dance, exercising, sightseeing, reading, listening to music, and spending valued time with her family and friends.
Jamie McLean, Yoga Instructor
Jamie, RYT-200, began practicing yoga in 1996. After years of moving all over the world and raising 2 boys, she and her husband are settled in Pittsburgh where she is filling her empty nest with yoga. Jamie completed her 200-hour certification at Yoga H’Om in 2010, and is delighted to discover that her passion for yoga has blossomed into pure joy by sharing it with others through teaching. She has been privileged to attend workshops with master teachers Richard Freeman, Sharon Gannon and David Life, Desiree Rumbaugh and Tim Miller. Jamie especially appreciates how the inner peace and harmony yoga creates on the mat permeates into your life off the mat, and can positively affect all those around you. Aside from yoga she enjoys hiking, boating, knitting, reading and spending time at her cabin on Priest Lake in Idaho.
