I always thought pilates was hard, and only very fit and flexible people could do it. A friend convinced me to give it a try and I am so happy I did. Challenging yes, but it really focuses on what is most important to being active and healthy. No jumping around or excruciating working, just focused and targeted at my abs, which i really need. can't wait to do more.

I have been practicing Pilates for 3 years and I feel that I have found the best exercise that tones, strengthens, and heals. All of the running, aerobics, and weight training that I had done over the years prior to finding Pilates, had taken a toll on my body. My knees were becoming weak and I had lower back pain. The Pilates workout strengthened and worked my muscles without the pounding impact that came from my previous exercise routine. Also, Pilates is the only exercise that has tightened the loose abdominal skin that persisted after I had two C-sections. No matter how many sit-ups or crunches I did, the loose skin would not tighten. After 3 months of practicing Pilates, my abdomen was tone and the loose skin disappeared. I am so pleased with the results that I have experienced, that I will always make time for practicing Pilates!

Feeling completely at ease, I followed their direction to embark upon an exciting journey of redefining my body and increasing core and component strength. It is not often that you achieve the synergy of ambience, experience, comfort, and challenge; The Pilates Body is the exception. I have enjoyed (and sweated through!) every minute of the past five months and look forward to many more years of health and fitness under the learned direction of the Pilates Body.

The Pilates Body and Lakeview Yoga...a jewel in the south hills!! I turned to Pilates and yoga after leaving the gym and feeling like it was always the same ole workout. Pilates has lengthened and strengthened me while yoga provides balance. The studio is beautiful, equipment is state of the art, and instructors are professional and skilled in their instruction. Whatever your needs they will work with you, I'd encourage anyone to give the studio a try, you won't be disappointed!

The instructors really care about you and assist you in getting the best workout for you. The other clients are supportive and make the classes fun. It truly is a non intimidating environment.

In just a few short weeks, I have noticed significant changes in my fitness levels including significant weight loss, increased muscle tone, and overall increased energy and positive attitude. The studio is clean and fresh and classes welcome clients of all ages. The instructors are excellent, positive and motivating and respect the needs and goals of each individual.
